What is Mannayan Griffonia?
The African black bean (Griffonia simplicifolia) is a lignifying creeper of the legume family (Fabaceae), which grows in the rainforest of West Africa. 3-7% 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan (5-HTP) is isolated from the seeds. This natural substance is the precursor of the natural neurotransmitter serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT).
What is special about Mannayan Griffonia?
Synthetic preparations have a long list of side effects and not everyone wants to take these drugs. There are products on the market made of St. John's wort or the natural amino acid tryptophane. The African black bean with the amino acid derivative 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan (5-HTP) is another natural variant that is very similar to tryptophan but has a stronger effect.
