The Mannayan+ series is breaking the mold in terms of production processes. The preparations are virtually handmade. We observe moon phases during harvesting according to anthroposophic principles, and use energized water for the production of the basic matrix, just to highlight two points. Compared with conventional preparations, biological availability is 200 to 600 times higher, which makes the preparations even more cost-effective.

WHAT DO NUTRIENTS ACTUALLY NEED TO BE EFFECTIVE?
The vitamins, minerals, and trace elements are not isolated from our food but integrated in fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.
These co-factors are necessary to reabsorb the nutrients from the intestine and to transport them through the cell membranes.
Synthetic vitamins, but also isolated vitamins with a natural origin, do not contain these elements and depend on the availability of the transport substances in our body. In many cases, however, these substances are not sufficiently available so that the effectiveness of the vitamins decreases. In trying to overcome the deficiency, vitamins and minerals are often prescribed in excessive dosages, still without achieving the desired effect. The answer to this dilemma was the development of nutrients that come close to natural foods as much as possible.
The biological availability is determined by:
- how well the nutrient is absorbed by the intestine,
- whether its carriers are available in the blood
- and whether it reaches the cell in its active form
WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT VITAMINS AND MINERALS OF THE MANNAYAN+-SERIES?
The Mannayan+ - vitamins are connected to food components which naturally contain these vitamins: e.g. beta carotene in carrot concentrate, vitamin C in citrus pulp and vitamin E in vegetable oil.
The Mannayan + - minerals and trace elements are enriched in a nutrient complex based on yeast. The result is a food supplement with proteins, carbohydrates and lipids that can be absorbed by the body like natural wholefood.

WHY ARE MINERALS OF THE MANNAYAN+ - SERIES MORE EFFECTIVE?
Minerals occur in two forms: inorganic and organic. Inorganic minerals are usually not suitable for the human tissue, whereas minerals in an organic form can easily be absorbed and utilized. In nature, plants absorb the inorganic minerals from the ground and convert them into organic minerals.
Through consumption of these plants, the organic mineral becomes available to humans. Mannayan+-minerals are produced according to this model. In a nutrition matrix the special mineral is added to yeast cells (saccharomyces cerevisiae). These cells transform the mineral into its organic form, so when it enters the human body, it is integrated into the required transport molecules.
Micronutrients in an organic form are utilized better by the body, because they are surrounded by the same biological co-factors as in the natural food. Therefore, natural vitamins have a high bioavailability.
WHY ARE THERE NO PROBLEMS WITH YEAST FUNGUS ALLERGIES IN THE MANNAYAN+-SERIES?
Most allergens are proteins or chain molecules. In general, in Mannayan+ - products there are no more active yeast cells that could trigger an allergy. After enrichment with nutrients, the yeast cells are enzymatically dissolved and the protein molecules are broken down to amino acids. From that moment the yeast contains no more potential allergenic chain molecules. Should, in rare cases, a product contain yeast, it will be indicated in the product information. Thus, Mannayan+ - products are also suitable for persons suffering from fungal allergy and candida sensitive persons.
So far, we have not observed any allergic reactions to Mannayan+- food supplements. However, there is no product, that is completely allergy-safe. Therefore, we point out that, for example for Mannayan Gluco+, the ingredients are obtained from sea animals. Meanwhile many nutrients are enriched in a food matrix that is enzymatically obtained from lactobacillus bulgaricus. That way we achieve a much higher biological availability and compatibility.

DO MANNAYAN+ - PRODUCTS HAVE TO BE TAKEN WITH THE MEAL?
Mannayan+ products do not necessarily have to be taken with the meal. Because of the food components inside, the Mannayan+ -agents are well tolerated, because they contain the specific co-factors relevant for resorption.
You may also take the supplement between meals.
WHY IS THE PRODUCTION PROCESS SO IMPORTANT?
An important factor for the biological availability of the ingredients is the production method of the tablet.
Many so-called harmless additives used for producing tablets, can influence the absorption capacity of the agents or cause side effects and allergies. That is why Mannayan+ -products are only manufactured with a minimum of necessary additives that are all of natural origin. Another quality factor is the processing pressure when pressing the tablet.
Too much pressure causes heat and damages the agents. Furthermore, the dissolution of the tablet in the intestine is reduced and the resorption rate declines. Therefore, one of our standards in production is to regulate cooling periods of the punching heads and control the pressing power.

All capsule shells are made of cellulose, so they are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Most Mannayan+ -products are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and candida sensitive persons. They are guaranteed to be free from wheat, gluten, starch, dairy products (lactose), sugar, dyes, artificial flavors, preservatives and active yeast. Exceptions are, for example, Mannayan Gluco+, which we gain from crustaceans and Mannayan Deca-Mineral +, which contains active yeast. We guarantee that no genetically modified material is processed in the Mannayan+ products.

ADDITIVES
Carriers are needed in tablets and capsules in order to absorb the active substances so that they can be released in the intestine at the right time. Release agents and thickening agents as well as coating substances are necessary for the tablets to maintain the form and avoid sticking together.
Very small amounts of antioxidants and acidifiers ensure that the sensitive micronutrients maintain their effectiveness until the given expiration date. The additives are listed both on the product label and in the product description. On selection of the necessary additives, we paid particular attention to ensure they are healthy and have no allergenic properties.
Only substances of natural origin are used.
