What is Mannayan CAL+?
Mannayan Cal+ is a purely vegetable product with an unusually high natural calcium content. It is obtained from seaweed (Lithothamnium calcareum). This marine plant can accumulate and store calcium and important trace elements in its cells. The organic minerals - iron, magnesium, iodine, selenium, zinc, sulphur, manganese, potassium, sodium, copper and phosphorus - have a particularly high bioavailability.
What is special about Mannayan CAL+?
The seaweed from which Mannayan CAL+ is extracted grows in the cleanest waters of the Atlantic Ocean without any prove of environmental pollution. Mannayan CAL+ offers more calcium than any other vegetable source. One capsule contains as much calcium as 80 g soybeans or 200 g broccoli.
Because the calcium in Mannayan CAL+ is of purely vegetable origin, it is available in its organic form. Compared to calcium salts, organic calcium is characterised by high bioavailability and good tolerance.
To cover the average daily calcium requirement according to the recommendations of the DGE, one capsule of Calcium plus (200 mg) is sufficient. A 5-fold quantity of a mineral salt (e.g. calcium gluconate) would be necessary (1000 mg) due to the lower absorption.
